Crafting has been a part of my life since childhood as a way to deal with anxiety , starting at Harold Washington Elementary and expanding through classes at Chicago State University. This passion was reignited with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., where I created gifts and signs, leading to my venture in crafting paddles and beading for fellow members. This evolved into The Krafty Chick, a business born from creativity and resilience during challenging times. Originally a Greek paraphernalia venture, I shifted to jewelry making due to the high costs, focusing on The Krafty Chick during a career transition in 2013. The business has since blossomed into a hub for handcrafted jewelry and accessories, serving a diverse customer base of women who appreciate the art of personal expression through accessories.
